Privacy

This is a personal static site. It has no accounts, no forms and no cart. It asks you for no data and stores nothing of yours on a server under your name. It does count page views, anonymously, and this page says exactly what that means.

What is stored in your browser

Two preferences, both in your browser’s local storage and neither of them sent anywhere: the theme you picked (light or dark) and the language you picked (Spanish or English). They exist only so the page reopens the way you left it. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

What the hosting records

The site is served from Vercel through a content delivery network. Like any web server, that infrastructure records requests — IP address, user agent, requested path and timestamp — so it can deliver the files and defend itself against abuse. Those logs belong to the infrastructure provider, not to me, and I do not join them with any other information.

How page views are counted

Page views are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, served from this same domain. It uses no third-party cookies: instead of an identifier kept in your browser, each request is turned into a hash that is discarded after 24 hours. That is why the numbers are aggregate and cannot be joined back into one person’s browsing session, here or on any other site.

What each data point records: the time, the page and its route pattern, the link you arrived from, already-filtered query parameters, an approximate location (country, region, city), your device type and the versions of your browser and operating system. Your IP address is not stored alongside it, and no URL on this site carries a user id or a token that could be picked up in passing.

Third parties

There is no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party cookies. The page-view counting described above is first-party: its script is served from this domain, not from an external one. Typefaces are downloaded at build time and served from here too, so your browser never contacts a font provider when the page opens. Outbound links — LinkedIn, npm, the blog and the listed sites — take you to services with policies of their own.

Questions

If you want to know anything else about this site, or ask for the removal of any data you believe concerns you, write to the address on the contact page and I will answer personally, not through a form.

Machine-readable version

This page is also published as markdown: append index.md to its URL. A summary of the site, and when an agent should reach for it, is at /llms.txt, and /llms-full.txt carries every page in a single file. Any page answers in markdown if you request it with an Accept: text/markdown header.
